About me

Hi, I’m Tykesha –a storyteller, coffee enthusiast, and light chaser based in Southern Maryland. When I’m not on a photo shoot or working on my travel blog, I can be found at home curled up with a good book. I was raised in Miami, Florida, with two younger brothers. I moved to North Carolina for college and then relocated to the Washington, DC, area, where I met my husband. We got married and had our two wonderful children, Aubrey and Austen, who have been the muse behind my photography journey.
